So I gathered the perfect free things to do in New york per day of the week…
Sunday - standup comedy!

Monday - go to the Crocodile Lounge few minutes from Union square - have a drink - and get free Pizza
Tuesday - go to cross-pollination at the Pianos bar - two free shows of different bands; then go to the restroom, take a pirate bath and head to dance with free Vodka between 11pm-midnight @ happy-ending dance bar. Both are in lower-east side, with 5 mins walking between them.

Wednesday - it's a bad day. rainy. stay home. get healthy for the weekend.
Thursday - 7pm-9pm, the new museum opens its doors. There's a great exhibition of the Black Panthers right now on two floors, and some boring stuff on the two others. But it changes all the time…

Friday - MOMA is free @ 16:00 - nothing better then a modern museum on Friday afternoon. That way you begin Friday evening with both good feeling of being educated, and with a great start for mingling talk: "have you seen the awesome <insert-name-here> exhibition @ the MOMA?!". everyone will know you are updated, and you know what? you ARE updated! you just been to the MOMA…
Saturday - well, tons of free stuff, but it's saturday, so you don't care to pay, right? However, go to central park on the afternoon, look for the roller skaters from the 80's.They are so cool! (and free) - you can watch them hours as they dance with the fashion of 80's streets some rap or house music. U can even join them if you're cool enough, and have the vintage skates…it's from 2:30 to 6:30pm.
